The songs were written in international hot spots like New York, Lisbon, Paris and Baltimore (who knew?) by Avey Tare and Panda Bear, with the rest of the band adding a more complete sound as they all hooked up to work through the music. The band recorded the album at the Wavelab in Tucson with Scott Colburn (Arcade Fire, Animal Collective) as the producer, then headed back to Brooklyn for the final mixdown with Nicholas Vernhes at the Rare Book Room. Strawberry Jam is due for release on September 10th via Domino Records . Their Peacebone EP is out now. MP3: ...
